OBDII is the abbreviation of On-Board Diagnostic Version II.It is a system that developed by the Society of Automative Engineers and designed to standardize automotive electronic diagnosis.Since 1996,the majority of the vehicles that sold in the United States are completely OBDII compliant.

How To Use The Digimaster III To Adjust The Mileage?

The Installation Instructions Of The 5054A

Insert the 5054A-base CD and click the “steupstart” icon,there will show some windows one by one,you just need to click “INSTALL”->”ACCEPT”->”START”, the progressing bar will show the process of the software installation.when there pop out the window of “End of successful VAS-PC Installation,press “FINISH” and then choose “EXIT” .

Next,you need to install the Java,click the “JavaSetup6” icon and install it.Then click the “VAG VAS-PC HotFix” icon and finish the installation.

Then,download the adobe reader 7.0 and install it.After that,restart your computer to save the installation settings.When the computer restart,connect the 5054A to the computer and install the driver.Then turn on the computer desktop,VAS-PC ,choose “OK”

Now you can start to set the options and click “Administration” first.choose the “Enter workshop code” in the list of “Select function”.The first group code is the 3 digital,the second group code is the 5 digit and the third group code is 2 lines no more than 60 characters.After you finish the setting,go back to the management interface and select “Vehicle Self-Diagnosis”,then the “On Board Diagnostic(OBD)”, write the vehicle identification Number down,click “OK”.After all these steps,you can see all the systems of the vehicles,you can choose what you want to check the control unit.

How To Use EasyDiag To Diagnose

After you get the EasyDiag,the first thing you need to do is download and install the EasyDiag software in your IOS or Android smart phone.And before you use the EasyDiag to diagnose your vehicle,please make sure you have registered in the EasyDiag software that you installed in your smart phone;then ensure the EasyDiag tool has linked with the vehicle,and also has connected with your IOS or Android equipment via bluetooth.Last,to confirm that the ignition switch is in the ON position.

Next,you can start to diagnose your vehicle.

The “Clear trouble code” selection will make the system delete the current exist trouble code automatically.

And click the “Read data stream”,the screen will display data stream item,then select the item you want and confirm it,you will see the real-time data of the selected item on the screen.Click one of the item,the system will show the data changes in wave form.Or you can click the “Data stream” to view all the waveforms.Then you can click “Start to record” to record the real-time data and generate a text report.The option of “Generate current Text Report” will help you save the data in text form and “Generate Screenshot Reports” will save the data in screenshot form.
